We are looking for volunteer Childcare Assistants to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who wants to work with children aged 5-11. You will be tasked with assisting and supporting the staff team with  the day to day care and entertainment of the children during the school holiday periods.

This is a very rewarding role and is a fantastic experience, especially for those who would like to enter a career in child care, teaching or other associated field of work.

What a week, I had a great time! It was amazing to see the children go from shy and withdrawn to them getting involved with everything, laughing and having the time of their lives. I’m not going to lie- it’s tiring but such a rewarding and an unforgettable experience. You are made to feel part of the team from the second you arrive and are fully involved.

(A volunteer in 2017)

Volunteers would be required to commit for at least 1 week (Monday-Friday), but many have had such a great week they have asked to volunteer again for more weeks.[/vc_cta][vc_cta h2=”Volunteer Garden/ Grounds Person” add_button=”bottom” btn_title=”Contact us!” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.jotfor.ms%2F82515750708459|title:Volunteer%20interest%20form||”]At Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home we have extensive grounds which require ongoing maintenance especially from spring to the beginning of Autumn. This can be quite a challenge for such a small charity.

Typical activities within this role would include; grass cutting, weeding, planting, pruning and general tidying. No previous experience is required as a full induction would be provided along with ongoing support.

Preferably, we are looking for someone who could commit to 2-3 hours per week from March to September but if you could volunteer on a Ad Hoc basis then just let us know. More hours per week can be discussed.[/vc_cta][vc_cta h2=”Volunteer Fundraising/Marketing Assistant” add_button=”bottom” btn_title=”Contact us!” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.jotfor.ms%2F82515750708459|title:Volunteer%20interest%20form||”]As a small charity, we often find it difficult to carry out our own fundraising activities and spread the word about the wonderful work that we do. We are therefore looking for some volunteers to join our fundraising and marketing team.

Within the fundraising and marketing team you would help progress our efforts both raising money and the charities profile. Previous experience in fundraising or marketing would be an advantage but not necessary as we can support you in this role.

You may be involved in activities such as:

*Developing our social media presence

*Collecting fund raising prizes

*Creating engaging website and social media content

*Supporting the general organisation of fundraising events[/vc_cta][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1″][vc_column_text][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]
