Easter Holidays 2024

Our Easter Holidays were a whirlwind of excitement and adventure for children from Rochdale and Rossendale. Despite the wet and windy weather, we ventured outdoors to our adventure playground for fun and games.

We welcomed Daz and his menagerie of adorable creatures. The children’s eyes sparkled as they learned about a mesmerizing array of furry companions, including rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats. They were equally enthralled by the reptiles, which featured fascinating snakes and lizards.

The children embarked on a picturesque walk through the charming local countryside, delighting in a picnic and a detour at the enticing monkey bars where the children challenged themselves getting to the other side without falling off!

They explored our woodland area, played on our tree swing and learnt to use a flint and steel to create a camp fire followed by toasting marshmallows.

Indoor festivities were no less memorable, with the children participating in an energetic game of bingo, unleashing their artistic talents with Easter-themed crafts, and indulging in the sweet art of baking. As dusk descended on the final evening, the barn was transformed into a pulsating party room, where the children engaged in cherished party games such as pass the parcel, musical statues, and the timeless corners game. They danced away, filling the barn with infectious laughter.

Throughout these joyous Easter Holidays, the children forged lasting memories, made new friends, celebrated the essence of childhood, and left with hearts filled with happiness and a yearning to return.
